| This is the highest mountain in the south of Peru, a permanent glacier situated in the province of Arequipa.
It’s 8 hours from Arequipa City till the Pallarcocha lake 4800m, from which we go directly to the snow-capped Coropuna, doing camping in an altitude of 5200m. The next day, to the top we walk 5 hours approximately (not technical). This mountain requires 3 days because it’s big.
