description: choquequirao is an important archaeological complex which means “golden cradle” on this trekking we will visit the apurímac canyon and also have the possibility of seeing the flight of the condors and enjoy a variety flora and fauna.
day 01: from cusco to cachora.
day 02: from rosalinas beach to choquequirao.
after our breakfast we will ascent to our goal, choquequirao, will arrive approximately at mid day; on this trail we will be able to appreciate flora and fauna such as: orchids, violets, deer, anteaters, birds and real local insects; after lunch we will visit the archaeological complex of choquequirao where we can study the incan colony; we will also be able to see the apurímac canyon and the snow-capped ampay mountain.
day 03: from choquequirao to chikiscca.
after having our breakfast, we will explore this area of semi-tropical forest and; we will go to the lookout point of the santa rosa valley. we will descend to the apurímac river in order later view the lookout point of cocamasana; we will spend the night here.
day 04: from chikiscca to cachora and cusco.
finally we will head towards cachora, finishing our trek to choquequirao. in cachora we will have the possiblility to visit the thermal pools in de qonoq. from here we can take our transport to cusco, where we will arrive approximately between 6 and 7 pm.
