                          | the trek to the ausangate is suitable for people who are prepared to trek  between 7 and 8 hours every day; what we offers on the ausangate trek, are  impressive sights of the mountain and crystalline lakes and contact with  animals such as the llama, alpaca, vicuña and vizcachas; as of course the  villagers of this region. | 
                        
                          | day 01: from cusco to tinqui. | 
                        
                          | we will begin our  trip by transferring you from your hotel to the bus station, then we will  travel to the community of tinqui; where we will begin out ausangate trek,  passing through the huatanay river valley, and arriving at our first camp site.  | 
                        
                          | day 02: from tinqui to upis. | 
                        
                          | after breakfast, we will  begin our trek to upis (4140 meters of altitude) in the direction of ausangate  the snow-capped mountain (6372 meters of altitude). on your trip we will have  contact with the andean population and see the great scenery of its fauna such  as south american camels. we will visit the thermal baths and we will spend the  night at the foot of this snow-capped mountain.  | 
                        
                          | day 03: from upis to quinsacocha. | 
                        
                          | after our breakfast  we will have a long trek, (4700 meters high) towards quinsacocha, which means  in spanish three lagoons.  we will be  able to appreciate the crystalline lagoons formed by the thaw of the ausangate  mountain range such as hatun pucaqocha, wiraqocha and huchuc pucaqocha; we will  spend the night on the banks of one of them at 4575 meters high.  | 
                        
                          | day 04: from quinsacocha to pampacahua. | 
                        
                          | this day is hard due  to the altitude we cross the alcatani  place (4650 meters high) descending to ausangate  lagoon and palomani pass (5050 meters high) we will enjoy the magical scenery:  lagoons, snow-capped mountains and valleys. we will spend the night in tents.  | 
                        
                          | day 05: from pampacahua to jampa. | 
                        
                          | on this day we will  visit communities where the villagers use typical clothing. we can fish and our  trek will head towards jampa, this day we will trek our last high pass on the  trek (4600 meters high) from here we can appreciate the beautiful lagoons  ticllaqocha and qomerqocha where we will spend the night in tents.  | 
                        
                          | day 06: from jampa to pacchanta | 
                        
                          | finally we will head  to pacchanta, where we will enjoy the thermal baths and then continue to tinqui  where we will return to cusco by bus. |
